Clive McKegg
Clive is the founder and managing director of Audit Assistant. He has a background in Chartered Accounting, including audits of large and small Companies and Not-for-Profit organisations, plus owning his own small practice for a number of years. Clive is responsible for vision and strategy, administration, financial management, content oversight, product development, customer file review, and training.
Matt McKegg
Matt is co-founder and director, and our chief software architect, and developer of original AA. He also oversees all technical development. He has followed his passion for web-based software, sound engineering, and interface design into a career as a software architect and programmer. He has also been involved in a variety of other projects ranging from web-based musical tools to virtual meeting spaces. He has presented internationally at Node JS and web audio software conferences.
Swikrit Khanal
Swikrit is our feature development manager. Swikrit graduated BEng with honours from Waikato University and came to us directly upon graduation. He provides first-line technical support and is also a customer liaison for onboarding and custom development projects. He also visits firms to make sure they are using all the features that they need.
Nick Mason
Nick is our senior developer and back-end specialist. His association with us goes back to our early days when he and Matt developed the key infrastructure. Nick has joined us again after working on a number of other complex cloud-based applications over the last ten or so years. He brings extensive experience in project management and database optimisation.
Timothy Shue
Timothy joined AA after several years’ experience as manager in an audit firm, preceded by nine years with the NZ Audit Office. His background includes tutoring and working with Excel tools including competing at international Excel competitions. He is responsible for content development, training, support, and client liaison.
Laura Magon
Laura joined AA after leaving her career in psychology working in a Youth Justice facility, after becoming a mother. Laura’s experience as a Case Manager, plus previous roles in customer service and management, place her well in her role in account management, customer support, events management, online training site management and administration.
